Punch You Own Card Design

To create your own 24 stitch punch card design you will need:

1) Use a graph paper to design your pattern

2) Put your designed pattern onto a blank punch card

3) Get your handy punch ready

4) Punch selected area

5) Finished

Operate a knitting machine

手搖織機是一種人手操作編織毛衫衫片的機械，編織不同種類的衫片。手搖織機的好處是＂快＂，能夠在短時間內完成作品。編織課程主要介紹手搖織機不同部份的功能及操作方法。 每班僅限於四個學生。

我們相信你能夠完成一件獨一無二的作品。

課程以粵話或英語進行。

如果你家中沒有手搖織機，你可以租用的我們的手搖織機，每小時為港幣 80元正。



材料費, 每100g 毛紗為港幣20元正

Students will learn to operate a knitting machine and to design and make knitted products.  Classes are limited to four to six people. 

Explore your creativity on your unique knitted creations.

Courses in Cantonese or English.

If you don't already own a knitting machine, you can book the machine to use during the course for $80 per hour.

What is a Punch card?

With a punch card, you are able to make 

fair-isle pattern, tuck stitch, slip stitch, weaving in and lace pattern.

Fair Isle is a traditional knitting technique used to create patterns with multiple colours.

行咭織花(Fairisle) 就是指由單邊織成的花樣圖案,　在編織過程中按照不同的圖案掛上所需的紗線。可同時織兩種不同顏色[即一行(Horizontal)中織兩種不同顏色],　及圖案的大小有規限，直向編織基本上是沒有規限，主要跟行咭的長度而定，但橫向編織要在24針之範圍內設計。顏色之間的分隔最多不能超過八針。

織成的布片稱為有底毛撥花(Float Jacqard/ Fairisle)。

除了Fairisle,　行咭更可織出打花,　滑針,　梭織及通花。
